Ian Winter
I grew up in St. John's, Newfoundland. In the late 80's I moved to Nova Scotia, to pursue my career as a Paramedic. Then in 2008, I moved back to Newfoundland. I started in photography when I joined the photo club in high school. There I learned the basics of photography, film developing and the workings of a dark room. From that point on I played with it as a hobby. In the early 90's as digital photography started taking hold my film camera had some problems, which I could not get fixed. So I got away form photography for awhile. Then a few years later I bought a "point and shoot" camera. My interest was rekindled, and in 2008 I bought a Nikon D90-DSLR, took a couple of digital photography courses, bought some extra equipment, lens's etc. My main interests in photography lie with nature and landscapes. I continue to upgrade my equipment. I feel I still have a lot to learn, and hope as my experience continues, my pictures will reflect it. Please feel free to leave a comment using the Contact link
